About me:
I have been working as a freelance copywriter and editor for over ten years. Hard pressed to list all the subjects I have written about, I can tell you that I do not do "adult content." My BFA is in Film from the University of the Arts, and a great fix for a wobbly table it is! I have written and consulted on numerous narrative and documentary film projects, one of which, "The Piano at Harry's Bar." was selected for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and assist with research, idea and screenplay development and consultation. I also took a course at Temple's Small Business Development Clinic dedicated to researching and writing business and grant proposals. I spent three years in Costa Rica teaching English as a Second Language. I also began to write Web-sites there: interpretations of Costa Rican corporate, immigration, and real estate law for Gringos, and, of course, tourism. I worked on translations from Spanish to English for Costa Rican businesses and companies producing educational content and promotional brochures.
I got to thank the Academy when I was twenty-three.
I was a finalist for the 2007 Roy W. Dean New Zealand Screenwriter's Fellowship, and my latest screenplay, THE BLOOD DHARMA, has just passed to the second round of the Mumbai Mantra-Sundance Screenplay Competition, and made the Quarter-finalist round in the Blue Cat International 2012 Screenwriting Competition. The script has been considered by some larger production companies, calling it " immensely enjoyable." I continue to seek the right fit to tell this exciting and exotic tale of revenge.
